Today in class we discussed our past homework about Inventions. Many of you expressed your love for the modern technology of computers which I completely understand! If we didn't have our computers, there is no way we would be able to have these Skype sessions with each other. Despite all of the technical difficulties on my end, I thank you all for continuing to participate! Today's lesson was about TIME TRAVEL (one of you wrote your homework about time travel, YAY). For next week, you are writing about whether you would meet your future self or not. Can't wait to see you all next week!
March 20
Class was not held due to technical difficulties ( I'm so sorry you guys!). We will make it up to you all.
March 14
After Spring Break, Sabre told the students about her experiences in New Orleans, especially a 'National Pie Day' parade! She shared some videos and promised to show some photos in the next session. Students shared their past homework to the instructor about having Super Powers. The instructor gave them homework for next week and the session ended with students waiting for next week's session!

Halloween passed and I was eager to share with them my costume! Fortunately for the students, my police hat was nothing compared to their masks that they created!

We had an awesome class today boys! You guys started by teaching me some of the finer details of cricket. I admit right now that I have a lot more to learn! We took some time to review the homework from last week. I am getting to know you guys a lot better, and since I know you guys like sports, books, and cars, I will try to have some of our lessons about those topics. We talked about different dances because you know that Anjelica and I both enjoy dancing. I showed some videos expressing the difference between tango and tap dancing. We sang some songs, and you guys are teaching me some Urdu words. I look forward to impressing you guys with my skills soon.
HOMEWORK:
Your assignment this week is to describe your favorite books. This should be roughly a paragraph long.

Since you like cars, I thought I would share one of my favorites. This is a 1967 Shelby GT 500. What do you think?
September 20th
Class was cut shorter than most, because I mistakenly called the wrong classroom! Sorry, boys! However, we were able to do some introductions. :) I see that our boys LOVE cricket, so they are going to have to teach me all there is to know. As well, I will have to teach them the different steps that I am learning in tap dance.
The HOMEWORK assignment this week is to think about your favorite possession. What makes that particular object so special to you? One student said his favorite possession was his video games, so that's a start! Don't forget to think about why it is your favorite thing! See you guys soon!

HOMEWORK: Take this time to tell me about who you are, so that I can get to know
you! Make a list of, at LEAST, five of your favorite things, and explain why each thing is important to you. Tell me what your favorite animal is! You can ask any question or submit any work to me at [email protected] .
Example:
One of my favorite things is my pearl necklace. I received it as a gift from my
grandmother. It reminds me of my family, and the fun we have together at holidays.
